Farrell and Burns trade penalties in stalemate

01st January 2012
Owen Farrell and Freddie Burns of Saracens and Gloucester respectively traded 5 penalties each as the teams shared the spoils at Vicarage Road. Sarries largest crowd of the season had to endure atrocious weather conditions, which made life difficult for both sides. Saracens led 9-6 at the break, which was eventually evened up in the second half, with Gloucester levelling with a 40 yard kick two minutes from time to take a well deserved share of the points.
