Concord Rangers upset Cup plans

Concord Rangers, from the Ryman Premier League, visited Melbourne Park for round 4 of the Essex Senior Cup and delivered quite a surprise to the home camp. One up at half time courtesy of a stunning drive from ex City regular Kurt Robinson, Concord raced into a 4 goal advantage in the second half with star man Tony Stokes grabbing a hat trick. A late consolation goal from Michael Bakare was insufficient, and with City's minds clearly focused on the FA Cup second round tie at home to Macclesfield on Saturday, this was not the preparation that they would have liked.
