Big and Not so Big Cats

07th December 2011
This item is an unashamed plug for the Wildlife Heritage Foundation (WHF), Ashford, Kent. If you are a keen photographer, no matter starting out or professional, then the WHF run a series of photographic days that are for you. Run by Andy Porter and his colleagues, the day allows you tuition (as much or as little as you need) whilst getting close up - and almost personal - with both the big cats, Tigers, Lions, Leopards, and Pumas, as well as the not so big cats including Pallus, Fishing Cats, Lynx and latest additions Rusty Spotted Cats.

The WHF is a registered charity, and breeding center for these amazing creatures, many of which are critically endangered. I have now been to the center on numerous occasions and am still amazed at these awesome creatures. The latest edition to the collection are two Sumatran Tiger Cubs, bred on site, and a few images from my latest visit to the WHF have now been added to the site. At this point I have added the Cubs to the 'not so big cats gallery', although in a few months time, they will most definitely be 'big cats'.
