All Square at Park View Road

3rd place Welling United and 4th place Chelmsford City fought out a hard earned draw at Park View Road. City took the lead early in the first half when Max Cornhill beat everyone else to head home from close range. In a fairly evenly contested first half Welling hauled themselves level two minutes from the break through Loick Pires. The second half continued to be evenly contested, until Jamie Day received a straight red to leave the hosts with 10 men. Despite this the home side could have snatched a late winner when a glaring chance was missed with minutes remaining.
